The story of the wolf and the little pigs is a favourite with picture book creators and lends itself to retellings; here’s another highly entertaining twist on the tale. The Little Pig is very happy in his snug house in the words and when the wolf comes prowling around he sends him away with a flea in his ear. When he realises that Red Riding Hood’s granny is next on the wolf’s hit list though, he sets out to help. The story then takes a totally unexpected and very funny turn.
