Carolina Rabei is an illustrator with a BA in Graphic Design, and a distinction in the MA in Children’s Book Illustration from the prestigious Cambridge School of Art. She was born in 1989 in Moldova. Her picture book, Snow, with words by Walter de la Mare, was published to huge critical acclaim. The Ride-by-Nights is the second de la Mare picture book that she has illustrated.
Carolina's books have been nominated for the Kate Greenaway Medal, shortlisted for the Read It Again! award and featured on The Independent's list of 11 Best Books for 4 to 7-Year-Olds.
