The best Jaqueline Wilson book ever! I was hooked and couldn't put it down! A must-read! The worst thing about it is that you can't put it down!!
The book that I am reviewing is called The Other Edie Trimmer. It is written by Jaqueline Wilson and is mainly set in the Victorian era. The main characters are Alex (Edie's best friend), Missus(Edie's evil master), and of course Edie Trimmer herself. In my eyes, this was by far the very BEST Jaqueline Wilson book that I have ever read, I was hooked from the very first sentence and couldn't put it down. I especially enjoyed the images that amazing description creates in your head, at some points, I felt I was watching a movie instead of reading a book! This book (from start to finish) only took me a few hours to read as the plot was so gripping, definitely a must-read! Like any other Jacqueline Wilson book, The Other Edie Trimmer was exciting to read.
This book was great. It was about a girl called Edie who loves acting and when she doesn't get the leading role in a play called Oliver! However, her best friend does and Edie starts to hate acting.

This book is emotional and fun to read, I suggest children aged 8 to 11 should read it, whenever it says "I put my hand on my head to check its not bleeding" I also put my hand on my head!!...
