Ali Freer studied English at Emmanuel College, Cambridge and has since worked in educational publishing, most recently as a freelance Publisher and Writer. She is passionate about books and learning and loves the way that reading can open the door to other worlds.

She lives with her husband and two children and writes in a little log cabin nestled amongst the trees at the end of her garden. Her other loves are music, art, and walks by the sea.
