Caroline Plaisted was born and raised in London. She worked in publishing for many years before becoming a full-time writer. She is published by Bloomsbury, Simon and Schuster, Piccadilly Press and Scholastic, amongst others. She lives in Ashford, Kent with her two children, two dogs and two cats.
