The holiday season is upon us, and what better way to get into the festive spirit than a family Christmas theatre show? One that promises to light up the season is the terrific tale of Christmas as told by Horrible Histories - Horrible Christmas live on stage. The national tour of the production will be visiting Brighton, Bexhill, Manchester, Nottingham, Birmingham and London from 16 to 29 December 2023.

When Christmas comes under threat from a jolly man dressed in red, it’s up to one young boy to save the day – but can he save Christmas?

From Victorian villains to Medieval monks, Puritan parties to Tudor treats, join us on an hair-raising adventure through the history of Christmas in the company of Charles Dickens, Oliver Cromwell, King Henry VIII and St Nicholas as they all join forces to save the festive season!

It's a celebration of Christmas in the most wonderful, funny and moving way you'll ever see!

The Britsih Theatre Guide said, "Sparkling entertainment delivered with style and professionalism by an eight-strong cast to satisfy audiences of all ages. What starts out as a light-hearted history class about festive traditions rapidly becomes an object lesson in how to stage a proper pantomime. A flash, bang, wallop of a production!"

Manchester Theatre Awards said, "This is that rare gem of a family show that genuinely appeals to all ages from four years old upwards. If you think you know about Christmas, this show will make you think again!"
