About Isadora Moon Goes on Holiday

Isadora Moon is special because she's different. Her mum is a fairy and her dad is a vampire and she's a bit of both. When Isadora wins an amazing holiday for her whole family she's ready for sun, sea, and sand! But there's work to be done when she and her mermaid friend Marina discover a baby turtle in trouble. Can Isadora help the turtle find a way home?

With irresistible pink and black artwork throughout by author/illustrator Harriet Muncaster and a totally unique heroine with an out-of-this-world family, this is a beautiful, charming, and funny series of first chapter books.

Perfect for fans of Claude, Dixie O'Day, and Squishy McFluff, Isadora Moon is the ideal choice for readers who want their magic and sparkle with a bit of bite!

Amatullah Khatun - Age 10

This book was incredible. 'Isadora Moon Goes on Holiday' is about a girl who is half-fairy and half-vampire. In this story, Isadora enters a competition to win a family holiday and she actually wins! On holiday she saves a turtle with the help of her mermaid friend. I liked Isadora's little sister who reminded me of mine.

I love the illustrations and especially like how they're all done in black, white and pink, my favourite colour. I now want to read all the Isadora Moon books.

Elissa Watkin - Age 7

In this book about Isadora, she goes on a tropical holiday and meets her mermaid friend who helps her come to the rescue of a baby turtle which has got stuck because of the dangers of not recycling and damaging our planet. I really liked this book because it's got lots of animals in it and it had a really nice message. Any story about a fairy who is also half-vampire is going to be great! My favourite bit was when Isadora and her family went to meet her mermaid friend's family underwater. I'm 7 years old and I really enjoyed it and found it very easy to read so I think this book would be good for boys and girls aged 6 - 8 years old. This isn't the first Isadora Moon book I've read and I recommend reading the rest of them and I look forward to reading more.

Milo Jones - Age 4

Milo: I really liked this book because Isadora went on holiday and she had a fun adventure. I really enjoyed reading it and want to read more books about her and her funny family. My favourite bit was when they were cleaning the sea.
Mum: My son really enjoyed reading this with me. The step by step process of going on holiday was great as he could relate to every step but it was interesting to read. Would also suit someone going on a plane for the first time as it would prepare them. The magical aspect made everything more interesting and fun. Great to be able to have a conversation about littering in a child-friendly way too. Really suitable for anyone starting on their first chapter books or a child reading with a parent. We really liked this!
